Hi, I'm Allison! I've been recording pretty much everything since I was 12 — there was just something about a camera being able to freeze a moment and keep it forever. That obsession never really wore off, and somewhere along the way it turned into my whole career.
So when it came time to pick a major, film was kind of a no-brainer. I studied it at Grand Valley State University and got my hands on every part of the process, from the first planning meeting all the way to the final edit.
An internship at Coastline Studios pulled me into wedding videography, and I loved it enough to keep working with them after I graduated. I also spent a ton of time shooting real estate with Smallegan Real Estate — that's where I really learned how to make a property look its absolute best.
That love of film spilled right over into social media, too. I've built an audience of 40,000+ followers and over 4 million views, just by making stuff people actually want to come back to.

Long before film school, I picked up a camera and started recording everything, captivated by the idea that a moment could be preserved forever.

When it came time to think about college, film was the answer. I decided to pursue it seriously and set my sights on Grand Valley.

At Grand Valley State University I worked across every phase of production, pre-production, production, and post, building both my craft and my confidence on a wide range of projects.

Internship & subcontractor
My internship opened the door to wedding videography, new cameras, and professional editing software. It rounded me out as both a cinematographer and editor, and led to an ongoing subcontractor role after graduation.
Smallegan Real Estate
Real estate photo & video
Working with Smallegan Real Estate, I learned all things real estate photography and videography, shooting properties of every size, collaborating directly with agents, and building a professional eye for what makes a listing stand out.
